Notes
- technical documentation reviews
- Network Information API http://www.w3.org/TR/netinfo-api/ (Travis & Mounir)
- detecting wifi vs. 3G/4G ... reduce user cost
- overholt notes that he has had many metered wifi connections (Mounir mentions the same)
- risk of fingerprinting increases if we expose this to the web; maybe just expose this to installed apps?
- Google (Android) has no plans to implement in the foreseeable future
- Mounir is going to try to sync with Jonas to come up with a plan here
- Travis is going to capture a lot of this discussion in the thread (on dev-webapps, maybe?)
- per-app usage metering also a question
