Friends of the Tree
Daniel Einspanjer <deinspanjer@mozilla.com> wrote in, "I'd like to nominate Alistair MacDonald from Boston, MA who spent the weekend before the 3.5 launch coding on the SVG+Canvas map that appears in the http://downloadstats.mozilla.com page. I reached out to him as a community member and he pitched in because he thought it was a cool way to show what HTML5 was capable of without Flash."

Other Business
Firefox 3.5 is not the first browser release with 650 Castro St in Mountain View as headquarters. That marker goes to Netscape Navigator 1.0.
dmose and I (MitchellBaker) were part of that release as well. If anyone is interested I'd be happy to tell a few stories from dec. 1994, and maybe dmose has a few stories as well.
