Friends of the Tree
Jeff Walden & Reed Loden nominate Jesse Ruderman. "One man, one week, 295 crashtests. Zounds." Reed provides this link and this link.
Seth Spitzer nominates Phil Ringnalda "for his recent work in finding, logging, and fixing bugs with our livemark code."
Ted Mielczarek nominates Ben Hearsum. "He's done a lot of work setting up a VM to build the MozillaBuild installer, which is totally arcane work, and has been a huge help, and it wasn't at all his responsibility."
Chris Hofmann nominates Mary Colvig for her awesome work making FOSS.in happen.
I (asa) would like to nominate Seth Spitzer as a friend of the tree for his consistent participation in the Friends of the Tree program and for always trying to make sure Mozilla contributors are recognized and thanked.
Development Updates
Fx 2.0.0.12 / TB 1.5.0.14
Thunderbird 1.5.0.14 is currently in beta. It will be released Wednesday, 12/19, at 3:00 PM if no new issues are found or reported.
There is some debate about when to do the Major Update because of holiday schedules. That should be worked out this week.
Firefox 2.0.0.12 planning has not begun at this time but triaging of bugs will begin this week for that release.
