Hey there, I see you're using SMW features for events, and possibly also for user properties in {{Remobox}}. That's very cool! I fancy/fantasize myself as a SMW expert, so if you need help, let me know.
I have some comments and suggestions and a sample query in User:Skierpage/SMW/examples.
Are you the person doing the user properties work? It's interesting because it's sort of like the Mozillians community directory, without all that pesky login and privacy stuff :-) .

- Hey there! Yeap I am the one deploying SMW for the sake of ReMo program :) Right now we are using it to track Events and User pages. You might also want to take a look on the Form I have created , and I am working on a similar one for People. We are in contact with the Mozillians team (actually we are on the same team) and when the mozillians will be deployed we are going to merge some of our data there. I could possibly use some help on some SMW stuff. (Especially on the repsgroup property , which I am trying to find a neat way to have multiple values. Ppapadeas 15:03, 4 July 2011 (PDT)
- Can't you just add values from category=Category:Interest group to the repsgroup field of the form? - "Similar to values=, but gets its values from the names of all pages belonging to a specific category"? I'm confused by repsgroup, maybe repsgroup is a just a subcategorization of "Remouser", in which case do you really need a property for it? just categorize people as Category:Mozilla marketing representatives, a subcategory of Category:Remouser (which should be renamed something like Category:Mozilla Representatives). If you leave repsgroup a property and you leave its type the default of type page, then you need more descriptive names for its possible values than General. -- Skierpage 18:24, 8 July 2011 (PDT)
- I recommend you use spaces in your pages and properties, and avoid acronyms and shortening, and use capitalization sparingly. Property:represents interest group and Category:Mozilla representatives are fine, "repsgroup" and "Remouser" are obscure and unfriendly. -- Skierpage 18:24, 8 July 2011 (PDT)
