This page documents situations in which Thunderbird may execute JavaScript loaded from the public Internet.
- Blogs & News Feeds. Used with Feed Accounts, whichs allows adding Feed Subscriptions. When viewing an article, it may be shown as a web page with active JS.
- Searching for Add-Ons. The results are shown as a web page with active JS. Nagivation to different pages within the site is possible.
- Add-Ons are able to open and display web pages with JS active, using the openContentTab() JS API.
- Executing the openContentTab() function interactively, using the error console, giving an URL parameter.
