Not so minor
- WINDOWS ONLY - increased spacing of lines in folder and thread pane, filters, compose and address book at 125% DPI - [bug 671611]; [GS]; REGRESSION ; [Workaround: custom userChrome.css] - hopefully fix will land in TB10

- Cannot " Import everything " in Import wizard since Thunderbird 6 GS [bug 432902]
- Mac OS X Lion 10.7 on TB 5: Various unsubstantiated issues that need someone e.g. a contributor to see if they are fixed in TB6, and QA and Triage if still present in TB6:
- [Lion Hangs]
- [Lion Crash]
- [Lion Scrolling]
- [Lion startup] (needs to be started twice and diagonal slash through icon)
- Lion compose problems - WORKAROUNDS - restart TB, move compose window
- [Lion is "slow"]
Minor issues or issue fixed in TB 7 or future release
See Thunderbird 7 User Changes Page
(not in order, numbered only for convenience; minor = no dataloss or non dataloss mac and linux problems since only 5% or less of TB users are mac or linux)
- Mac OS X Hardware acceleration seems to require discrete GPU on Macs with two GPUs which results in using more battery than the integrated non discrete GPU - apparently a bug since Firefox 4 and Thunderbird 5, will be fixed hopefully soon by the Gecko folks for us - [bug 646043 which could be a dup of bug 604135], [bug 668552] - [fixed in Firefox 10 nightly build October 28, 2011 which means it will hopefully be fixed in TB 10 or sooner]
- nntp related crash reported by Socorro in TB 5 - [bug 662228]
- Deleting an attachment on a GMAP IMAP mail results in 2 emails: original + email with attachment deleted; this appears to have been a problem starting in TB 3.1 - [bug 679619], [GS]
-
Touchpad/trackpoint scrolling does not work with some versions of Synaptics drivers in Thunderbird 5- fixed in TB7, 8 (as well as Firefox 7) - [bug 538189], REGRESSION -
Thunderbird tags in a large folder like a bugmail folder sometimes get lost with Conversations add-on when archiving individual messages in a conversation, noticed in TB6 Beta 2 and 3, may have been around in TB5, may be CONDSTORE related since it happens with IMAP on mozilla.com i.e. Zimbra accounts- WORKAROUND Repair the folder, possible fix for people to try out who know how to backup their email i.e. who are beta software friendly, [bug 678148]. [fix has landed in TB 7 for bug 678148 but might not solve the issue completely] - similar issue with dovecot, [bug 675868] which turns out to be a dovecot issue which is fixed by upgrading to dovecot 1.1 -
Cannot print multiple mails anymore GS. WORKAROUNDS - Change mail.operate_on_msgs_in_collapsed_threads to false [bug 680446].- fix backed out, so printing should work in TB7 Beta 3, TB8, TB9 etc blanks at the end of email-address in Settings prevents displaying of inline images - [bug 68542],fixed in TB9-
Mac OS X Lion 10.7 Accessibility Issue Text to Speech not working (Regression: discovered in TB5) - [bug 674612], [GS]- fixed in FF 10 / TB 10
Add-on Issues
The following is an incomplete list of add-ons that have issues in Thunderbird 6. Please add to this list add-ons that have issues and if you find an add-on has been updated and works with Thunderbird, please strike it out using <del></del>

Non Thunderbird Add-On Issues like Anti-malware
see Thunderbird:Testing:Antivirus_Related_Performance_Issues#Problem_Antivirus_and_Anti-Malware_Packages for a anecdotal user-contributed list
- Emsisoft Anti-Malware, Guard option - probably not compatible with TB 5, TB 6 and up - This is an Emsisoft issue possibly with post V5 beta software; its not a Thunderbird issue and requires them to update their software
