- Got a preliminary patch up that puts a new ContactService in between mailnews/, mail/ and nsIAbManager. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=841603.
- Survey'd how nsIAbManager is used by mailnews/ and mail/, and updating the ContactService API to be a minimal replacement

- Do we accept memory leak and hang (CPU used for hours) patches into TB 17.x?
- Tentative yes, with an appropriate level of testing. Those are considered stability problems, so we like to fix those in interim releases if we can. We just need to make sure they're rock solid before we do.
