Firefox OS and Android News and feedback

Firefox OS

   Mozilla's statement regarding 1.2/1.3 updates

   "Firefox OS is  developed on a much faster schedule than others and Mozilla currently  publishes a new rapid release every 3 months. Most of our OEM [original  equipment manufacturer] partners have decided to skip the update to 1.2  and will directly update their customers to version 1.3, which will  offer additional features in comparison to version 1.2."

   We have LINE app in the Marketplace!

   ·         Countries where Telefónica is not present: app works regardless of the SIM card

   ·         Countries  where Telefónica is present (currently ES, CO, VE, MX, BR, PE, UY): app  works only with a Telefónica SIM Card. For a period of 6 months, it will not work with a non-Telefónica SIM Card. 

   So, we should add info to the whatsapp article about this and include the screenshot. Will send to Joni.

• Firefox 27 is out and looks great after 24 hours! Thanks to developers, QA and SUMO contributors for KB articles, answering forum questions, translating forum articles and tweeting
• For those who wish to help with Firefox Account based Sync on their Android phones, please standby for nightly instructions which I hope to send out to the SUMO Mobile contributors this week
• Will also put together some report data for v26 this week
