“Mobility Shifts: An International Future of Learning Summit” is a year-long program of discussions, publications, curriculum evelopment, podcasts, video interviews, performances, and other interdisciplinary, collaborative projects culminating in the conference Mobility Shifts in October 2011 at The New School in NYC.

Participants, who ideally have experience teaching with digital media inside or out of institutions, can contribute their experience and share tools that they've found useful. Led by Trebor Scholz, the focus of this activity will be not so much on the tools but on the actual social practices that are wrapped around these digital media platform services and tools. This will probably be done completely without computers, sticking to index cards, etc.
