3.6b1 Test Plan

Full Functional Tests Results

Each team member could take a platform, or they could take sections depending on how we divide the FFT.

As of Oct 20, we have decided to run the BFT test-run.

Instructions: Go to the Firefox 3.6b1 BFTs test suite in Litmus and go through those those tests. If you need to prioritize, start with the areas that underwent changes - awesome bar, tabbed browsing, bookmarks, library, history, add-ons manager, lightweight themes, layout, content handling, password manager, audio&video, form manager, session store

If you file a bug, please add "[3.6b1]" without the quotes on the Whiteboard field so we can query the bugs filed during this testing cycle.

Windows (PASS)

    • Downloading - Cookies (gmontagu): NOT RUN: 5; FAILED: 3; UNCEAR: 1; REST: PASS

      • Notes: The Content Handling had lots of issues: the first test makes the browser crash, the yahoo one and the calendar one don't work quite correctly. The passwords test had 6 tests, 5 passed, 1 unclear/broken because one expected message didn't appear. The cookies one had 4 tests, 2 failed because the aol cookies where not removed. No bugs filed

      • Status: 20091021
      • Notes: no issues found
    • Overall Notes: I went through gmontagu's results and made sure to redo the tests that were failing. In my case, no crashers. Also, the tests are a little unclear in content handling, so they can be interpreted as not working.
