This is a page that displays to new users of a Firefox desktop version on update or a new download. It may highlight new features of Firefox or suggest other Mozilla products to users.

Content strategy, marketing, program management, l10n, QA, release engineering, web production/ops, and release management teams collaborate in creating a What's New Page (WNP).
Release management drives the process through a timeline and checklist. We also generally have bugs filed. Content is created, localized, and deployed on bedrock early in the Beta cycle of a release, with test plans. Testing begins during the RC (release candidate) week just before a release. Testing also takes place just before and after the release.
