MozMSIT

The event, MozMSIT was planned for 30th January,2016 at Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, New Delhi. The event started at 1.00pm after all the voulnteers from Mozpacers community gathered. Bhuvnesh commenced the event by giving a short introduction to Mozilla and it's Delhi NCR community followed by Manraj, who shared his experiences in MozSummit, Singapore where he had recently been to.

Plans for the event

• To make the registered candidates aware of Mozilla and it’s community in Delhi.
• Holding some good sessions on GIT by Sanyam and Webmaker tools by Saurabh.
• Awareness about ‘WOMOZ’ -an initiative.
• General quiz to make the sessions more interactive.
• Making the event successful by spreading the word of open source community.
• Solving the general queries of attendees.
• Working with the ‘Technocratz’ team of MSIT,hence making the event successful.

Agenda

• Share various stories related to Mozilla and providing inspiration and motivation to newbie.
• To give attendees an insight about Mozilla and its mission.
• Ways of contribution for newbie.
• One to one interaction of attendees with current active Mozillians.
• Organizing some learning sessions for registered candidates.

Extra Curricular Activities

• General quiz on Mozilla and its Mission by Saurabh and Tanshul.
• Distribution of Moz Swags to those who answered correctly.
• Group photographs were clicked.

After the event, some more swags were distributed to the attendees and their queries were solved. Discussion regarding upcoming events was also done. Finally, few photographs were clicked to have the memories of the day.
