- (pmoore and Callek) deployed changes to cleanup sutagent code
- Callek/kmoir had meeting with dustin/dividehex/mcote regarding the fact that that mozpool uses the sut reboot versus the more reliable relay reboot and plan of action to rectify
IT
- Tegra move - mrz is working on a proposal to present to the team for review
- Draft https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/display/~mzeier@mozilla.com/Tegra+-+Migration+out+of+650+Castro
- There has been email back and forth on this, nothing is finalized yet. Waiting on mrz to return from vacation next week.
A Team
- jmaher on PTO this week
- only two mobile bugs in the top 10 on OF:
- bug 722166 Fennec intermittently crashes on startup ("Automation Error: No crash directory (/mnt/sdcard/tests/profile/minidumps/) found on remote device" or "Automation Error: No crash directory (/mnt/sdcard/tests/reftest/profile/minidumps/) found on remote device")
- bug 835588 Intermittent "BaseException: Failed to connect to SUT Agent and retrieve the device root."
- bug 807230 Intermittent DMError: Automation Error: Timeout in command {ls,ps,isdir,mkdr}
- Less frequent lately: http://brasstacks.mozilla.com/orangefactor/?display=Bug&bugid=807230&startday=2013-06-17&endday=2013-07-03&tree=trunk
- I landed a patch for bug 881897 to reduce amount of data transferred from the SUTAgent while polling, but things had already started to get better before my patch was landed.
x86 automation
Autophone
- droid pro sdcard failed, changed mac address?
- no update on skia testing. been occupied with another project.
Eideticker
- Profiler seems to be fixed bug 879424. Turn back on profiling runs?
Round Table
- (kmoir) Will x86 require hardware to test? If so, do we have specifications? I have seen emails that this is a Q3 goal but we are unsure of hardware requirements and when said hardware will be available.
Action Items
- Clint to go fill out project form for x86
- Wlach to file a bug on re-starting profiling runs for Eideticker
- Wlach to add some logging for the "crash on startup" scenario
- John to file bugs for getting a Ubuntu iX loaner node for x86 standup
