Android 2.3 emulator
- See https://tbpl.mozilla.org/?tree=Ash&jobname=Android.*2.3.*&rev=a24a5a3ef523
- Reftests too slow: bug 967913
- Many robocop tests disabled: bug 975155, bug 975187, ... - most assigned to snorp now
- mochitest-gl very broken: bug 975487
- Now seeing random crashes during mochitests and crashtests...and no crash reports!
Autophone
- Patch in review for bug 969518 - Autophone - attempt to use ethernet over usb.
- Uses ppp over adb for s1s2 tests but wifi for SUTAgent connectivity.
- Limited test results http://phonedash-dev.allizom.org/#/org.mozilla.fennec/totalthrobber/local-blank/norejected/2014-03-04/2014-03-05/notcached/errorbars/standarderror
- Still need to investigate using iproute2's tc for traffic shaping.
- Unknown as to possible improvement over current wifi networking.
- Unknown as to scaling
- Will require conversion of Autophone host to Linux
- Requires phone's shell to be run as root. I will need to 're-root' the phones to get the shell to run as root.
- Would like to schedule a down time period of a day or two to perform the conversion and to perform tests comparing Wifi networking to usb networking using the full set of phones. Perhaps over the weekend.
- If this approach works, should we keep historical results or delete them and back fill on a limited basis?
Eideticker
- Fixed bug 978136 - wasn't compressing profiles before, which was causing disk on dashboard server to fill up. Should have plenty of room for more now.
- Backlog which I want to fix this week (really this time): bug 971477, bug 967109
