Weave
Labs logo/icon + name, linked to main labs page
Simple logo/icon + link.
Project logo/icon + name
Simple logo/icon + link
Main project weblog
Sample content (say, 3 posts per page)
In the final version of this, each project will have its own independent blog, and the main Labs site will pull posts in from those, rather than vice versa as it is here.
Each labs staff + project contributor feed, *project specific* only:
- Thunder's http://blog.sandmill.org/tag/weave/
- Jono's http://jonoscript.wordpress.com/tag/weave/
- Toby's http://tobyelliott.wordpress.com/category/weave/
- edilee's http://ed.agadak.net/category/weave
- there may be other contributors...will need to find out who the major contributors are from the project leads (ie: Dan/Jono here)
- Atul - doesn't have one (should have one!)
- Aza - doesn't have one (should)
- Cbeard - doesn't have one (should)
- myk - doesn't have one (should)
- pfinette - doesn't have one (should)
- smartell - doesn't have one (should)
- suneel - doesn't have one (should)
Short summary of the project
As the Web continues to evolve and more of our lives move online, we believe that Web browsers like Firefox can and should do more to broker rich experiences while increasing user control over their data and personal information. Weave is an experimental framework for exploring this opportunity.
The first component of Weave that's ready for testing is Weave Sync, a prototype that encrypts and securely synchronizes the Firefox experience across multiple browsers, so that your desktop, laptop, and mobile phone can all work together. It currently supports continuous synchronization of your bookmarks, browsing history, saved passwords and tabs.

Obvious what this should be -- above the fold, but maybe off to the side?

For users
User content...should be something user-centred. After an experiment moves to the "launched product" stage (like Personas), this link can go to the project site (ie: GetPersonas.com) instead of to this more hacked together/less polished page of user info...

Fairly obvious -- having it in the footer is OK, but having it above the fold might be nice. Maybe try it both ways?
