Bugs that need attention

The following is a list of bugs that I have marked as needing attention this week. Those listed under "Status Update?" need a comment about what their current status is—what is the current progress on this bug? Those listed under "Assigned" are bugs that are currently assigned to someone, so that person should give an update about the bug, or remove themselves from the assignee and mark the bug as NEW. Those listed under "Needs Changeset" are purported to be RESOLVED as FIXED, but require a specific changeset in order to be VERIFIED.

I will try to pick ten to twenty bugs each week that require attention, in order to help minimize the number of open bugs (particularly the older ones). If a bug listed here does not get attention during the week after the meeting for which it was listed, it will be listed again in the following week's meeting agenda.

• bug 492493 – Bespin is completely broken in Chromium
  • bug 478477 – Bespin text is blurred when using monitor with 1200 DPI
• bug 478270 – Clipping problem on WinXP with ClearType enabled
• bug 486917 – Uniform character width is an incorrect assumption
• bug 473329 – Implement code folding for various programming languages

• bug 473322 – Search: find items across the current project, and even across all projects
  • bug 474943 – Cross-file and cross-project code searches
• bug 480252 – Keyboard equivalent for Redo (Ctrl-Y) doesn't work
• bug 475374 – Key repetition on Mac Firefox
• bug 491548 – Command line generates errors if no header and subheader DOM elements are present in the page

Meeting Notes

• Dashboard is gone
  • First time in gives you an overlay to help you out
  • Next time around, you go to the last thing you were editing
  • Later on there will be ways to get at recently used and favorites
• The Dashboard will be reborn later as a way to view interesting project statistics, rather than a file browser
• embed.js - single file version of the Bespin editor component (Dojo included) that you can drop into your page.
• Malte's code completion has landed on tip (set codecomplete on)
• Gordon (GPHemsley) has added bugs that need attention to the agenda
  • Mentioned two new bugs
    • bug 492500: cannot close popup command help from the command line
    • bug 492499: command line is keeping the last command around
• Yahoo! Hack Day - Joe Walker (joe_walker) gave a talk about Bespin. It went well and there was a lot of interest.
• The focus manager from Julian (j4c) and Dany (danzat) has landed in Th.
  • Allows the focus to move between Th components as needed.
• Dany is working on the Th version of the editor
