Site Specific Prefs

Description

The purpose of this feature is to enable users to set preferences for browser and content settings (f.e. text zoom, page style, and character encoding) on a site-specific basis instead of just a tab- or page-specific basis, and to persist those preferences across page visits and browsing sessions, in order to improve the usefulness of those settings.

Description

Allows users to add an input field to the search bar with the context menu. See bug 261124. It is in some way like the "Add a keyword for this search", but this possibility should be added, too, because there is special UI for searching.

Copy Plain Text

Description

Copying some text and pasting it into a word processor often results in ugly format because the format from the web page is copied, too. Allow to set the copying of plain text as default action for copying text.

Drag and drop files into attachment textboxes instead of browsing through a file picker, or typing in the filepath. Useful anytime you need to upload a file - especially web based email (but probably should leave out the sidebar implementation - it's not necessary)

Extended Link Properties

Description

At the moment, the user can not see how big a file is before he starts downloading, so there should be a tooltip or other access which shows the file size behind links to common download file types / file types which are not opened in the browser. ELP works with Firefox 2 if you change the maxVersion to 2.0.0.* . See bug 328954.

Extension Manager Extended

Description

For shooting down problems with a profile in which extensions are installed (maybe by add-on interference), there should be an easy way to show the end user which add-ons have changed in the last few days / weeks. This extension shows date and time of the last update (or if there is none, of the installation).

Description

This extension removes the "target" attribute from links and so gives the user the full choice where to open the link. Integrated into Firefox, it should also check if there is a frame with the target name and only remove the attribute if there is none. See bug 251693.

Text Link or Linkification

Description

The way to open a plain text in a clean profile is an annoyance. There are also other extensions like this, auto-linkification would be handy (easy accessibility). Because in some cases it is wanted that the url is not linked, only opening on double-click is an alternative. See bug 236336.
