Action items
Feature Status Review (read only)
- Fx125 (Beta)
- Optimize, measure, and add tests for Speculative Connections slipped to Fx126 as we need more time to analyze results from the Fx124 beta experiment.
- Native HTTPS RR implementation slipped to Fx126 as testing has identified multiple platforms have issues with Native HTTPSRR support including OSX, Windows 10, Android 9 and lower. We have logged bugs with the OS’s and disabled on those platforms. Feature working on Windows 11, Linux, Android 10+. Final patches have landed in Fx125 preffed off by default and enabled in Fx126 to allow more time in nightly to mitigate risk of further OS incompatibilities. If no further issues identified, this will ride the trains in Fx126. Moving target to Fx126.
- Support Curve25519 in WebCrypto slipped to Fx126 as the team needs more time
- Fx126 (Nightly)
- Firefox Android’s code has moved from GitHub to mozilla-central in Fx126! This will improve developer productivity and help automated tests find regressions more quickly. In the short term for the 126 Nightly cycle, it will hurt developer productivity as they get familiar with new developer workflows and uplifts to Fx125 Beta will still use GitHub.
- Android Web Translations has slipped from Fx125 to Fx126 to provide more time to fix bugs.
