Feature Status Review
- Firefox 108 Beta
- Welcome users with a video about Firefox and Mozilla listed as challenged due to last minute landings and a telemetry fix. Both of those have already been approved and uplifted so I suspect this will return to 'on track' with the teams next update.
- Feature list remains light as we head toward end of year
- Firefox 109 Nightly
- No challenged or at risk features reported
- Suspect that Merge latest libwebrtc to mozilla-central may be considered challenged soon. Communication with external party is uncharacteriscally quiet. Could be due to year end holiday schedules.
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1790097 landed at the beginning of the cycle
- Several other forecasted features appear to be either considered 'new' or 'defining'. Considering we are 1 week into the Nightly cycle it's likely we'll see some of this work slip from 109.
SUMO Report
Roundtable & Special Topics
- Looking for a sense of how we feel about the Release notes process. Previously it felt like a struggle for content but seems to be getting better with Gabrielle driving?
- How concerned are we with the 2023 mobile OKRs stating that we will start shipping weekly in Q1 2023?
Retrospective (Tues 2wks from GA Release)
