Action items
Feature Status Review
- No challenged or at risk features for either Beta Fx85 or Nightly Fx68
- Waiting on a few landings in Nightly around; newtab update, download token, backwards compat of the infobar, and moving WebGL drawing to the GPU process.
SUMO Report
- No major updates. Currently busy reviewing deplatforming post plus VPN 2.0 launch
- Any concerns that SUMO should be tracking mentions on?
- Tracking Print UI mentions
Pre-release channels activities
- Windows download link on https://beta.mozilla.org was changed from the stub installer to the full installer (the stub installer replaces Firefox Release with no option to install beta alongside Release)
- Firefox Beta notes now incitates people to report bugs to bugzilla
- Link to Firefox Beta twitter account added to beta release notes and beta download page (replaces a dead "feedback" link which was just a blank page)
Roundtable & Special Topics
- 86 features list is light, the 2 items added at the moment were not in Trello, the AVIF change probably should
- AV1F is in the "Web Platform" trello board. For security reviews I have to look at both.
Post-Mortem (Tues 2wks from GA Release)
- 84 PM next Tuesday
