  • Couple of features received yellow rating/discovered major defects: Modernized Print UI, Desktop zooming on touch devices, WebGL Remoting, Improve WebRTC UI
• Following features are yet to be ready for testing (no nightly testing was requested)
  • • 1) Uninstaller ping[Search] and 2) Top Sites Remote Settings

Beta

• Pre-release feature sign-offs were completed
  • For Print Modernization, a test report was shared as QA conducted ON and OFF mode testing

Feature Status Review

• Firefox 82 is looking good from a feature persepctive. No outstanding challenged or at risk items!
  • Modernized print UI is now considered 'On track' as a decision was made to ship an experiment to a small subset of the Release population
• Firefox 83 has 3 challenged items
  • [challenged] Modernized Print UI, Phase 2 - reduced scope has helped some here but work overall remains challenged to land before soft code freeze on Thursday
  • [challenged] Move Search TopSites into Remote Settings remains challenged. Team is hopeful they will land before soft code freeze. Go/No-Go scheduled for tomorrow.
  • [challenged] Improve QB (V2) Search Discovery : Search Shortcuts remains challenged. Team is hopeful they will land before soft code freeze. Go/No-Go scheduled for tomorrow.
