Stability
- Windows symbols were uploaded manually, and a bunch of crashes were reprocessed - see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1514870
- rust panics have GeckoCrashOOL signature (bug 1514746), should be reprocessed once fixed
Nightly
firefox nightly summary score: 16.98, Thursday 5.22
- Some very high crash spikes right before the weekend
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1514528 generated almost 12K crashes
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1514441 was also very high volume, many signatures
- WR crash https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1507017 seems to be rising on nightly channel
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1515086 filed today, but it looks as if the patch that landed that caused
the issue was backed out of nightly for failing tests
Beta
firefox beta summary score: 2.90, Thursday 9.02
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1505094 shows up pretty high in b4
- Quickheal security software crash still in the top 5: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1489041
Release
firefox release summary score: 2.68, Thursday 5.79
- Rate looks good overall for 64
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1514028 is #3 overall. This crash is visible in other releases as well and doesn't appear to be new
- Like beta, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1505094 is quite visible as a top content crash issue
- Filed new Mac crash https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1515069. Unsure whether a signature change or something new. overholt needinfoed some people.
Mobile
- Crash rate is calculated based on usage hours (the time Firefox is actively used).
- Usage hours will be significantly lower on Fennec than on desktop Firefox, so we can't compare mobile rates to desktop rates.
- Release
fennec release summary score: 29.22, Thursday 25.09
- New bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1514768. Not many clues yet on what is going on. Briefly discussed today during Fennec triage.
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1513938 is starting to grow on 64, and was quite high on 63.0.1. We should make fixing this for 65 a high priority
due to the tremendous crash volume we had in 63.0.1.
- Beta
fennec beta summary score: 44.84, Thursday 221.17
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1513870 is the top crash, but there is a comment from SV that it doesn't happen with b5. During
triage today we discussed we are unsure what caused this issue and there are theories about a corrupt build
- Nightly
fennec nightly summary score: 34.30, Thursday 31.58
- Nothing of note to call out for nightly

Roundtable
- win64-aarch64 nightlies
- mark them as "experimental"? Pascal suggested doing a Nightly blog
- note something on https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Supported_build_configurations about this platform?
- probably OK as long as expectations are managed (not linked from regular nightly download page, noted as experimental)
- ASAN reporter builds have similar messaging around them
- Overholt discussing with Chuck about what comms we might need on this
- Pascal offered to coordinate Twitter activity
- Currently no hardware and not enough people to test this in QA. We expect to receive hardware in January/February, but in order to test Nightiles we will have to move QA engineers from other tasks, so we would need to decide what else to drop to accommodate arm64 testing. Our automation tools don't work on ARM64 at the moment, so all testing has to be manual.
