Schedule Update
- Need 53.0.3 desktop release
- Driver: Bug 1364240 - HPKP will expire on 53 before 54 ships (waiting to land on m-r)
- Driver: Bug 1360574 - Firefox stops working after 900 connections when using NTLM proxy
- ESR 52.1.2
- Driver: Bug 1360574 - Firefox stops working after 900 connections when using NTLM proxy (Reported by many enterprise users, some on esr and some on release) This is something we have trouble testing, and put in a last minute patch for in 53 beta RC2.
- Fennec 53.0.3 driver (maybe)
- Bug 1362969 - MediaCodecDataDecoder::Flush() hangs when playing Youtube video on Android 4.2.2 (and below?)
- needs QE for version info, regression range/cause is unclear
- This may affect a large % of fennec users
- For the future, we might think about adding frequent manual tests of basic youtube functionality for android, in Nightly and beta
- 54.0b8 shipping today (fennec delayed a bit)
Nightly updates blocked for the last 24 hours due to bug 1364878
- No respin after the backout was merged
- Followup issue hopefully fixed now, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1365256#c9
- Infra issues with windows builds are causing tree closure and more delay
- P-I requests filed for emergency manual testing help https://mana.mozilla.org/wiki/display/PI/PI+Request
- Backing out the patch is not an option as there are problems with data migration
- Can we be more cautious about major db/profile changes, testing, etc?
- ETA to turn on Nightly updates today/tomm am
There is a report on the nightly-testers list of the default language not working for swedish (en-US is showing up instead)
