Add-ons
Stability
[marcia]
- Due to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1342817 we may be missing some telemetry data
- Stability dashboard without the infobar crashes: https://release-management-data.herokuapp.com/dashboard/index.html
- Let's only exclude shutdown hangs (shutdownkill signature)
- Infobar crashes are enabled for the entire Nightly, Aurora cycle and some of Beta cycle.
Aurora
awsy rate: 4.46 (browser 0.96, content 3.50)
[marcia]
- jim has a good explanation for one of the top crashes on Aurora: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1339168#c7 - crash is only happening in 64 bit builds
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1339485 Mac crash is #10 overall browser crash
Beta
awsy rate: 0.88 (browser 0.68, content 0.20)
[philipp] 52.0b9; some notable issues that don't look like they'd get a fix in time for release:
- Startup crash in BaseThreadInitThunk (most likely caused by unidentified malware) https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1322554 (4.6% of browser crashes)
- Crash in mozilla::CycleCollectedJSContext::ProcessMetastableStateQueue https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1336478 (0.5% of browser crashes, regressing in 51)

- Layout crash https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1261175 (0.8% of content crashes)
late opportunities for uplift?
- Crash in _moz_cairo_scaled_font_get_font_options https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1336350 (~1000 weekly reports on release, regressing since 49)
- has a simple patch that fixes a nullptr & is easily verifiable (reproducible crashes with particular pdf files)
- milan: just triggered landing on inbound as this meeting started
- cubeb update https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1342363
- should fix a couple of audio playback crashes https://bugzil.la/1340278,1340289,1340291 (0.43% of crashes on beta 9, regressing in 52)
