    • We did an hotfix to disable a mp4 experimental feature (cf bug 1234807)
    • FYI : bug 1235605 - RyanVM will do some exploratory testing and regression window finding

    • 44.0b4 desktop and mobile signed off, pushed
    • Skipped b3 and will skip b5

Overall rate: 2.1 - browser 0.8, content 1.3 - red (similar to last week, somewhat worse than the end of 44)

Beta

Overall rate: 1.0 - green (slightly better than last week)

  • bug 1212133 (a11y::DocAccessible::RemoveDependentIDsFor) is 2.1% of 44.0b2 data
  • bug 1233481 (js::AutoEnterOOMUnsafeRegion::crash) is 2%
  • bug 1233962 (net::InterceptedChannelBase::DoNotifyController) is 1.9%, fix landed for b4
  • bug 1234170 (nsIWebSocketChannel::Serial) is 1.5%, fix landed for b4
  • bug 1234529 (media::DecodedAudioDataSink::DispatchTask) is only 0.5% but warrants some attention as it's in media code.

Release

Overall rate: 0.9 - green

  • bug 1235537 (startup crash in banksafe.dll) - New startup crash in 43.0.3, >80% of all startup crashes and 50% of total crashes in this version, mostly isolated to Germany
  • https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1215970 Still top crash, needs help, maybe core::networking:cache issue, not skype (but possibly triggered by Skype running or similar things)

Mobile

  • nightly is up due to https://bugzil.la/1235341
  • beta crash rates are almost double what they have been for 43
    • saw this before the christmas break
