Stability
Aurora / Dev Edition
- Overall rate: 2.17 (browser), 0.44/0.99 (plugin crash/hang), target: <1.5; 0.07/0.14
- bug 1156800 is top hang, just landed on m-a
- browser crashes look on decent path, plugin still very bad
Beta
- Overall rate: 1.55, target: <1.4
- bug 1127270 (shutdownhang, layers::CompositorParent::ShutDown) is 3.5% in 38.0b8
- bug 1116812 (probably-TDRs) is 3.3%
- unsure if disabling DXVA would really make a big impact, having data would be good.
- nsDisplayItem::ZIndex() is 2.7% - and it's the AMD crash once again.
- bug 1158189 (shutdownhang, net::nsHttpConnectionMgr::Shutdown) is 1.8%
- bug 1141089 (ContainerState::InvalidateForLayerChange) is 1.6%
- bug 1143806 / bug 1160157 (layers::SyncObjectD3D11::FinalizeFrame) is 0.9%
- bug 1159973 (js::frontend::Parser::unaryExpr) is 0.8%
Top crash score worth highlighting:
- bug 1154703 (startup, layers::CompositorD3D11::Initialize), #2, patch is in b9
- bug 1130061 (webrtc, CreateCapabilityMap), #7 also patch in b9
Release
- Overall rate: 1.28
Mobile
- Issues with 38.0b8 crash data! Even more fallout from building out of m-r, see bug 1159993

QE
- [otilia] after next merge we'll be building 38.0.5 from release - are there chances to hit issues like we did with 38.0 last beta builds? Based on this last experience I believe we won't as there are some lessons learned and Sylvestre did a great job in writing the blog post with the issues encountered, but just wanted to make sure everyone is on the same page with next builds.
- we will have issues! We usually have beta version of X.YbA schema, here, with X.Y.ZbA
- Any plans to build from another branch, other than release?
- esr
- Note that we need to sign off 4 builds next week - 38.0 RC, 31 ESR, 38 ESR, 38.0.5 beta

Roundtable
- Review state of async init and whether it should move to Beta. (aklotz)
- high volume flash crash. talking with adobe. - if e10s rides to aurora, we want async init to work with it.

two more features that may not ride to 39:

- async stacks (dev tools) bug 981514
