Stability

Aurora / Dev Edition

  • Last crash rate for 38 on Nightly was 7.6 crashes / 100 ADI
  • We see quite a bit of instability in automated tests for Dev Edition 38, will need to dig more into that.

Beta

  • Last crash rate for 37 on Dev Edition was 3.5
  • A lot of MSE fixes went into 37 for esp. OOM, we'll see how that fares.

Release

  • 36 came down to a crash rate of 1.38 in yesterday's data on the beta channel, given that shutdownhangs still are ~0.3 of that (or ~19% of the overall volume on RC), we are matching the 1.0-1.2 area that we previously needed to have for releasing.
  • AMD crash detected in RC build1, we did spin a build2 yesterday.
