• We built a Mobile beta 9:
  • Update to search plugin
  • Another change to support the Lenovo distro bits
  • Geofencing change to only roll Yahoo in en-US
• release dates for 37/38 finalized
  • 37 - Mar 31, 2015
  • 38 (an ESR release) - May 12, 2015
  • 39+ remain as previously scheduled
    • means release prep - Beta 10, RC - will happen during the work weeks

Stability

Aurora / Dev Edition

• Bug 1120331 (IPC/GFX) is still ~30%
• We have a crash spike due to the AMD crasher (see bug 1131831)

Beta

• overall rate: 1.8 (when we should have 1.0-1.2)
• b8 has been delivers to ~25% of 36b users as of yesterday, so rates should go down further in today's data.
• Bug 1131768 (Audio) is >11% of 36.0b8 crashes, fix is in for b9.
• Bug 1132487 (NlsAnsiToUnicode) is ~1%, not really new in 36
• GFX:
  • bug 1128179 (SourceBufferDecoder::WasTrimmed) is fixed!
  • bug 1081911 (RotatedContentBuffer::BeginPaint) is fixed!
  • bug 1114976 (AtomicRefCountedWithFinalize::Release) is fixed!
  • bug 1116812 (D3D11) is ~3.6%, down significantly
  • bug 1089454 (D2D) is ~4% in sum, fix not applicable to beta
• Media:
  • No significant signatures in top ranks.
• Shutdown hangs: ~13%, was overall ~.3 crashes/hADI
  • bug 1124880 (nsHttpConnectionMgr::Shutdown) is 2%
  • bug 1127270 (mozilla::layers::CompositorParent::ShutDown) is 0.7%
