Schedule Update
- Beta 7 did not ship on Windows because YouTube did not fallback on flash. So, low feedback on MSE=disabled
- beta 8 built for Desktop & Mobile
- youtube "seems" to propose flash now. maybe a cdn issue?
- If needed, we will do a beta 10
- Question: are release dates for 37/38 finalized yet? (affects TCW scheduling)
- No.
Add-ons
- Extension Signing announcement: http://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2015/02/10/extension-signing-safer-experience/
- The yahoo toolbar seems broken. See bug 1131604
Stability
Aurora / Dev Edition
- overall rate is down to ~3.8, we should get below 2
- Bug 1120331 (IPC/GFX) is now >30%
- Bug 1126490 (GFX) is >5%, pinged Seth for patch uplift
- Many more GFX issues in topcrash list.
Beta
- overall rate: 2.0 (when we should have 1.0-1.2)
- b7 data is not very useful due to very few users (Mac/Linux) having it, so we only have useful data for b6.
- GFX:
- bug 1116812 (D3D11) is ~5.6% - discussions going on
- bug 1128179 (SourceBufferDecoder::WasTrimmed) is 3.6%, patch in b7
- bug 1089454 (D2D) is ~4.4% in sum, fix not applicable to beta
- bug 1081911 (RotatedContentBuffer::BeginPaint) is 2.2%, fix in b7
- bug 1114976 (AtomicRefCountedWithFinalize::Release) is 1.1% (landed for b7, needs verification)
- Media:
- Shutdown hangs: overall ~.3 crashes/hADI
- bug 1124880 (nsHttpConnectionMgr::Shutdown) is 1.8%
Release
- No surprises.
Mobile
- Release crash rate is improving after 35.0.1 release, two other libOMX signatures seem to be fixed along with the main one we investigated and hoped to fix there.
- will get better as intel Android users update of the ARM build, EMPTY: crash signature spiked with mostly intel android devices
- Beta rates still higher than we want, but probably to a part due to the libOMX fix not being in b6 (landed for b8 though).

Aurora / Dev Edition
Beta
- If we can't ship b8 soon, we probably need to give 36 a no-go.
- YouTube may have switched to Flash already, and then this will be a no-issue thankfully.
- Bug 1131604 (broken Yahoo toolbar) is a 36 regression.

Action items
Mobile
- Mobile/product/partner are trying to get some last minute changes in need to coordinate with them to see what timeframe makes sense - may want to do a b8 build2 (search related)
- Sylvestre to follow up Mike Connor & Mark Finkle
