Add-ons
Stability
Aurora / Dev Edition
- Bug 1100260 is a significant top 5 crash with MP4 video on Windows.
- Bug 1102612 is the other notable top5 crash other then the gfx stuff mentioned in beta section.
- Bug 1112822 is another bug that is rising in yesterday's data and could be related to MSE work.
Beta
- Bug 1098597 / bug 1074378 spike on 35.0b3 should be fixed in b4 with backout of bug 1097321.
- Early data seems to confirm that, the backout didn't happen on DevEd or Nightly though.
Release
- continues to look good.
Mobile
- Bug 1078304 (CreateEGLSurfaceForCompositorWrapper) is ~20% of all crashes in 35.0b2
- Bug 1108709 (libOMX_Core.so, Mali-400 MP) shows up with ~7%
- Bug 1110499 (crash reporter not working on L) fixed on 36+ but needs another fix for 34 and 35
- Bug 1049138 is a long-standing crash that we might want to take on the respin of 34.0.1 as well
Performance (Thu)
- proposed new performance policy: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla.dev.platform/HkfaOTtAFVo
- a side effect would be less overall bugs to track each uplift - ideally front loading the majority of the concerns when they usually happen on trunk and get faster decisions made on keeping or fixing it.
- slow week overall, lots of improvements on trunk and a few improvements on aurora!
