Schedule Update
- Beta 6 b2 built for both Desktop & Mobile
- Build 1 canceled (tests failing and then backed out)
- Waiting for sign off
Add-ons
- No updates.
Stability
Aurora
- bug 1031697 (huge crash spike): bug 1013587 was uplifted without its prerequisite bug 1013638 and therefore caused really bad crash rates over the weekend. Another Sunday nightly build for Aurora was triggered after the backout to get people off the crashy builds as fast as possible.
- The irregexp and OMTC crashes are going down due to the fix and deactivation patches.
Beta
- Bug 988549 (_VEC_memzero) continues to slightly drop, at ~3% overall, ~1.5% on b5. The issue is old Intel drivers. Bug 1026074 suggests contacting MS, we have a contact (security@ms.com) but Sylvestre needs help with the wording
- Bug 768395 (CDevice::DriverInternalErrorCB) is down to #11 with 1.2% of b5 crashes after the uplift
- Bug 1023239 (libinject2.dll) is getting better because of a fixed adware going around. Patch for file-date-based blocklisting in m-c. n-i to get an uplift (beta 7 hopefully)
Release
- Crash rates are staying high
- Bug 1023239 (libinject2) is going down, now #5, #6, and #9, ~4-5% of all crashes. Still want to get a hold on this library and submit it to AV vendors.
- Could only find one person who offered to help but they sent the wrong files. Still asking. Looks like they can't find the correctly named DLL -- Cww.
- Bug 883134 (Brazil banks) is now #8.
- Bug 1023239 (libinject2) is going down, now #5, #6, and #9, ~4-5% of all crashes. Still want to get a hold on this library and submit it to AV vendors.
Mobile
- Beta:
- bug 827264 (NSS) has a diagnostic/logging patch that can't go into beta but hopefully gives us some info.
- bug 1027155 (js::types::TypeSet::hasType) needs STR or at least a regression range.
