Jason's Update
(Don't let Jason start talking until someone has agreed to take notes here)
- Planning team objectives and key results (OKRs) for 2017. Focusing on three main areas:
- Growing outreach (coordinate 40 events in Asia, increasing social media audience, scientific surveys re: awareness of Mozilla among web developers, supporting launches, etc.)
- Improving feedback process (100% event report response rate, formalize feedback process with other groups like we do with the Platform Trello, etc.)
- Growing influence (get ~50% of the team actively involved with standards bodies / working groups)
- Learn more about Working Groups Here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Contribute#Working_Groups
- Don't forget to pitch the importance of Mozilla in the beginning of your talks. Ryan Kelly did a great job of this at PyCon 2015: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiBfOFqDIAI
