This section is for items that we want to track/discuss on a weekly basis.

  • OKR: reduce time spent developing user forms
    • Q2 time spent thus far: 0

Administration

  • Re-Versioning
  • Component Moves vs. Bug Moves
    • Graveyard Tasks can take some time, so doing these in batches
  • Closed the Bitly bug (bug 1349648) as INCOMPLETE because no time, and not a priority. Will get back to it later.

Development

  • Performance bug 1351895
    • From May 1 to May 5, we handled 71 million requests (82% was firefox 52)
  • Copy for Elasticsearch Rollout
    • Dylan wants to send the email (it makes more sense?)
  • HTTP-Twosday, Next Week?
    • Turn on HTTP 2 at the load balancer level
    • Big effect on the My Dashboard pages which loads ~90 resources
    • It's a switch in Zeus, so if this fails we can go back to 1.1 quickly
    • There is a known issue PHP issue with cookies, but should not affect Bugzilla
  • Rate Limits coming to API and show_bug, discuss upper limits

  • Discussion about email configuration that was in IT, but needs BMO input bug 1363039
  • Thoughts on the outcome of the last Nubis DR
