- syncing <-> github continues to be painful
- broader unit test coverage on commit
- with marionette we have shown that it is possible to have docs built out of m-c (https://marionette_client.readthedocs.org/en/latest/), which would eliminate the annoyance of maintaining a seperate repo in github
