Jason's Update
- Hacks posts - didn't get anything online for the past two weeks. We must fix that. Run idea by Havi and make it happen.
- More video content? What are our blockers?
- [sole] Editing / post-production is a huge time sink. Can we hand this off to a third party? [jason] I'll look into that.
- [jensimmons] I do all of my own video editing, but I do use Jim Metzendorf of http://www.audiopodcastguide.com/ to do sound editing when needed. I can also refer folks to a few other people. Ryanne Hodson and Jay Dedman are great video editors. http://www.ryanishungry.com I'm pinging them to see if they have availability. If not, I know a lot of other people we could consider.

Sole
Last week:
- got some cool stuff from Paul Adenot, working on Web Audio update article
- arranging more conference and podcasts and stuff, sent a couple of proposals to conference
- post about talking about tech and not gender got reposted in qz.com http://qz.com/741080/why-i-wont-talk-about-being-a-woman-in-tech-and-neither-should-you/ and mentioned in the techspeak newsletter http://tinyletter.com/techspeak/letters/technically-speaking-july-26th-2016 - still getting really good feedback even from people who are not strictly in tech but feel themselves well described!
- Filed some bugs, commented/contributed to others
- Working with Sam for Hacks article, we requested some feedback from Servo and we got a lot of it!
- Started repo for Web Audio examples, same style as MediaRecorder examples so we can reference them in Hacks articles: https://github.com/mozdevs/WebAudio-examples and also people can clone the repository and get a lot of working Web Audio API examples (the repository is very empty right now as I've just started adding demos to illustrate the article I'm writing)
- trying to file "TODO" ideas as issues with detailed descriptions so other people can collaborate if they want to - trying to build openness from the get-go. E.g. https://github.com/mozdevs/WebAudio-examples/issues/1
- More work on mindblown.js - still not rendering anything but the structure makes sense now, events are propagated and things are called when they should. Even added some rudimentary text mode docs https://github.com/sole/mindblown.js/blob/master/docs/hierarchy.md
- Installed android devtools on the desktop at the office so I can compile Servo for Android - it takes so long to set up binary development! Then Lars told us there's a hidden Nightly build 8-)
- Told everyone I could about the upcoming WebAnimations and our examples repository! https://github.com/mozdevs/Animation-examples
- something else but I probably forgot
This coming week:
- Finish Web Audio article, write the illustrations/examples and add them to repository
- Start rendering text nodes (h1, h2, p...) in mindblown.js and distributing slides in space
- Reviewing and getting Sam's first article published
